Theres an ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: Politics

Welcome to politics in BC. The most politically messed up place out of all the provinces and territories of Canada. And with a threatened recall of government representation in just another 5 months to "reverse" a tax just five months after it started....bound to get messier.

ALL THINGS HST

What a bunch of poppycock bull! James Bond would not be amused.

Downing the tax rate for fancy cars while eliminating the incentive for buying a Prius or Ford Fusion.

Interestingly enough, our leader is neck and neck with the Guvnator. So what happened to all that paved ambition on all roads leading to a "hydrogen highway"?

As is becoming more the usual, the 'so-called' leaders are letting citizens drive behind the wheel because they have shown they have lost focus and more scarily, ...taken their eyes off the road.

Best way to lead is to stand by your principles. And a good starting point for that is to actually have some in the first place!

 Now.  ....

With BC still a part of Canada the last time I looked at a map and read the paper, and BC'ers not so far obtuse to begin not calling themselves Canadians as well as British Columbians...whether they like it or not, and they may be at pains to admit it, as hard as it may be to try and wrap their heads around it...

...by far the single most ignored and ironically the largest most overarching issue  that represents the big fly in the ointment

are the unceded territorial land claims of the aboriginal population.
