Mood: a-ok
Topic: CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER
Here is another example of net history revisionism and how things that can get lost to the mists of time (beyond anyones sense of assault on human dignity, I do remain: indignant)
But heres an entry I made about five years ago
https://mach1231.tripod.com/index.blog/1423769/couldnt-help-it-on-this-one/
Now-,... did you notice by clicking the link on my entry for that day that it leads to a 404? i.e. Page not found?
Well-,...not only has it been re-located but the substance of the story has been changed so as to not incorporate the elements which I had mentioned in my blog entry for that day. That is, it had been altered.
So? So! Fine then! It is a free country after all.
I am free to delete any entries I make on my own blog too. (Should we all not though, draw the line so to speak, at misaligning other peoples characters by not impugning on them our own edits or writing false attributions?)
So rather than contend that history forms my image of an idiot, here is the page link, minus the references I had made
http://www.vagablogging.net/robert-young-pelton-on-interacting-with-locals.html
and the original reference I had made to
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventure/0303/story.html#story_1
that were then redacated or ommited from reference by the former site.
And that, friends, is a time honored way of...setting the record straight.
