Someone help me finish this sentence or give me an analogy.

"Watching Britney Spears mom be a talking head in a live tv interview is like__________________________________"

I was thinking something along the lines of a post-Katrina Bush at ground zero but thats too well used.

But I begin to think even some men and women of the distinguished press are onto the game here.

I sense a bad pun coming on...like something to do with 'spares' and 'spears'. 

I think we should all like to leave our cars by the freeway once they break down or we get a flat. But the last word and the last line of the news snippet definitely shows how far we may be from ever removing that small little bit of reserved chagrin for the Britster. And thats a good thing don't forget.
