Mood:  accident prone
Topic: News on News

Heres one that says Bhutto was killed because she mentioned Osama Bin Laden was(is):  dead.

PBS's FRONTLINE had an interview with Bhuttos niece before her killing who strongly suggested i.e. accused  her aunt of killing her father.

Others think the entire event was orchestrated to help de-stablise the Taliban-harboring country and bring peace to Afghanistan.

If OBL is still alive, since Pakistan has nukes, maybe people are worried that instead of just pretending to make out with him, Pakistan might slip him a little tongue.

Or if he were dead, concerns would linger that the country may continue to try and sell nuclear technology to add dollars to the coffers for spending on its military budget.

Benazir Bhutto, has said that,  during her term of office, even she was not allowed to visit the facilities involved in the technological development of nuclear enhanced weaponry. These companies of course have a close intrapersonal relationship with their countries defence department.

Of course I am like most people with an average level of concern. When sectarian violence takes place here, when political events inspire violence in peoples minds such as the Air India Bombing, when accusations of fratricides occur

..its intellectually lazy to contritely say: arrest them all put them all in prison or shoot em all up and sort 'em all out later.

The only person convicted of the largest terrorist attack launched from Canadian soil recently balked at authorities deal to avoid a prison sentence for perjury in exchange for assisting in the investigation.

In the mainstream press, the story is murky which has prosecutors denying that such an offer existed even as they report such an offer collapsed and the perjury trial will go ahead.
