FRESH NEWS: As the stars actually align in Berlin...for the 'Django Unchained' premiere....

http://gossipcenter.com/django-unchained/django-unchained-premieres-berlin-787385

It is fortituous timing for me to want to blog about the

nice little subsuming mini-takeaway dialogue plot portents concerning Germany in 'Django Unchained'.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/24/showbiz/movies/django-unchained-review/index.html

Say, I betchya the Germans could invent one nice long word for: "Nice little subsuming mini-takeaway dialogue plot portents"-,...but what would it mean? :)

Now me my self I have never been a Tarantino "follower" I have actually routinely avoided titles attached to his name (except one: HERO) back in the day of browsing DVD-VIDEO aisles (I am so-o-o-o nostalgic already!) and previously actually ran (not walked) the other way from his posters and marquee advertisements.

But there came a time now when the film I wanted to see (Les Misérables) was sold out or I had arrived late and had aroused and mixed with an annoying feeling that I owed it,-,.. if not to my self ; then a certain portion of the human population heralding from the great continent of Africa-,...where we all come from...to not miss this film large screen.

Sure I can be blatant as well as honest because Mr. Tarantino does not exactly have an established rep as a truth to power spokesperson, at least without the shocking glare of gratituous violence.

Thus Django Unchained is truly a great, great , GREAT film but sadly will probably not be recognized as such for some time to come. Largely not least because of the violence. Maybe QT will learn somehow someway that this gaping maw is the only thing that keeps him from being recognized as a film making great.

If you do not need a nude scene in a film, and if it not essential to story-,...and I do not need to needle on this point-,..then do not include it.

But other than that it was really actually kind of sweet to reminisce slightly, back to that age old campfire way of telling a story, and that is all about I can offer for reasons to see this movie.

Anything else to say would be a disservice to all the hard work that surely went into the production of this film. So please do go see it for your self.

But the films music was great too! First must have movie soundtrack of the year! And make it a Happy New Year to you at that! (grins)
