Played out
Mood:  bright
Topic: Green

Well, left yesterday "thinking", well, what a nice day it is out today , ..won't be needing the umbrella or hat today at all!

Fast forward to some 12 hours later and my clothes jacket were still not quite un-damp. I had gone to enjoy a free concert, holding my jacket up over my head in the lineup for about 45 minutes, and also sauntered back 24 blocks to my 'home away from home' soaking wet.

As for the concert, by the time I got inside the permieter I almost headed straight inside a makeshift building for shelter.

But this is where I experienced for the first time in my life: 3-D tv.

Folks this is going to be big, I just hope theres no permanent headache or eye strain results from our next big evolutionary leap in passive habitual television watching. And a leap is a leap is a leap!

But the weather is supposed to clear up starting tommorow , for a straight stretch of 3-4 days and it feels a lot like coming out of a turnpike headed for a beach or at least a straight away.

It is; after all only day 4 (yes Im counting) of the Olys in town and already I am starting to feel less like an Olympiad and more like............ a lilly pad.? Whatever.

It will be nice to have some sun in town, and help the long term memories of first time or returning visitors to Vancouver, live on and linger, not languish. Should be quite beautiful.
